What's in a name?
The blog address, "segments and stays" is a reference to the travel part of my job, which requires up to 80% travel.  That means a lot of time spent on planes and in hotels.  Segments (and miles) are used to earn status on airlines; stays (and nights) are used to earn status in hotels.
